The Major step has been taken in the process of Separate Telangana and Putting an end to speculation, President Pranab Mukherjee has cleared the Telangana draft bill.President sent the Telangana Bill to Andhra Pradesh Assembly, where the Winter Session kicks off on Thursday.
The bill is expected to reach the AP state assembly by tomorrow
Pranab gave the Assembly 6 weeks time to discuss the statehood issue.Pranab Mukherjee was having consultations with legal experts on various provisions of the draft Telangana Bill proposing splitting of Andhra Pradesh.
The winter session of the Andhra Pradesh State Legislative Assembly starting from today and will be held until December 20th.
As for now,The bill was not included in the assembly agenda that was finalized by BAC and house may consider it to include in agenda once it reached the house.
Legislative affairs minister D Sridhar Babu said that the BAC meeting would be held again when the bill comes to the government.
Otherside,Protests were raising by Seemandhra JAC and they even warned that they would lay siege to state assembly when the t-bill was tabled for discussion.
Police took high security measures and high resolution cameras were deployed at assembly premises to keep track of activities of suspicious persons
