Popular star heroine Samantha Akkineni, who is quite successful on the silver screen, is also an active philanthropist and a brand ambassador of handloom and khadi.She also started her own NGO, Pratyusha Support, which provides medical support to poor women and underprivileged children in 2012.
Apart from acting, Samantha is now is going to kick start a new venture to render social service to the people.Samantha will be staring a pre-school named as Ekam Early Learning Centre in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.
Sam has joined hands with her celebrity friends, fashion designer Shilpa Reddy and educationist Mukta Khurana for this project.

It is said that being a Reggio-inspired school, the school promotes both indoor and outdoor activities and also makes sure to bring the children closer to nature.
It also focuses on the environment being the third teacher with adults and co-students being the first and second teachers.It is also said that the campus is environmentally safe and uses organic and natural products.
