The producer shed light on the matter, saying, “A film shoot produces an extraordinary amount of waste and it’s important that I cover as many ground as possible with my work as an environmentalist.”

She says, “I cannot be contributing to other areas and turning a blindeye to the ecological harms that are caused by the making a film.” “Chandigarh Karae Aashiqui” was a film I had the opportunity to work with my entire team.

Pragya explained how they turned things around. We reduced significant single-use plastic by switching from plastic bottles to water dispensers.

This is a simple way to find a solution to basic problems and create a sustainable society.

She and her team also distributed excess food from the set among the families in need.

To speed up the recycling process, they also separated the waste into three categories: solid, liquid, and PPE.After the three-month shoot, the waste was recycled into bricks and lamps, as well as many other useful products.
