By Priyanka Kanoj Hyderabad, November 22nd : .Pragya Jaiswal made her mark in Telugu with Krish’s directedorial film ‘Kanche.’ Now she is ready for ‘Akhanda.”Akhanda” is a thriller-style commercial film starring Nandamuri Balakrishna.
Pragya will play the IAS officer role in “Akhanda” and is one of her most memorable roles in acting.The actress speaks candidly to IANS about her experiences working alongside actor Balakrishna and director Boyapati Srinu.
“The part I played in Akhanda is something I’ve never done.” Pragya believes that I am a bureaucrat who appeals to the audience more strongly.
Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu have made a fantastic action thriller, said the excited actress.”I can’t wait for the public to see how the movie turned out.”
However, she had to deal with anxiety during filmings that took place in the midst of the pandemic.She explains, however that she was made to feel at ease by her team who took all precautions while filming ‘Akhanda.
Pragya says that there was very little preparation time for her role.Pragya says that she had very limited time to prepare for the role.
I had to take a lot of time before I could become the character.This happened while working on ‘Akhanda.
After looking at the dresses and mannerisms of real lady cops, I was able to take notes.The ‘Kanche actress stated that this helped her a lot in getting a grasp of the role.
I want to thank Boyapati Srinu sir, for the effort he put into making my role attractive to the public.Pragya says that he made sure that the Pragya in “Akhanda” doesn’t look like any other roles I’ve played.
She mentions how it is a joy to see the world return to normal following the pandemic.However, she also says that what really entertains her is watching a movie in the theatres.
It is blissful to see a good movie in the theaters, no matter how serious.It is a blessing that movies have returned to the cinemas.
“Akhanda” is out on December 2, and features Pragya Jaiswal and Balakrishna in lead roles.S.S.Thaman composed the music to the commercial entertainer, while Srikanth and Jagapathi Babu are important actors.
