Ever since he began his acting career with ‘Uyyala Jampala’ in 2013, young hero Raj Tarun has been mostly appearing in youthful romantic entertainers.Even his last film that was ‘Orey Bujjiga’ was a commercial entertainer that was released on an OTT platform and then again in the theatres on January 1st which did not prove to be successful.
He has been going through a rough patch of late, with most of his films ending up as failures at the box-office.Now he is back with a different genre that is, thriller.
His next film is titled ‘Power Play’ in Konda Vijay Kumar‘s direction.This film is presented by Smt Padma Produced by Mahidhar, Devesh under Vanamalee Creations Pvt Ltd as their Production No – 1.On the occasion of the Makar Sankranthi festival, The first look and motion poster of the film is released by Versatile Hero Rana Daggubati and wished the team good luck.Reports state that the film has completed its shooting and is in the phase of post-production now.In the poster, the hero is seen sitting lost in thoughts while holding a pistol and wearing a pair of glasses that make him almost not recognizable.
This is the second time we will be seeing Raj Tarun collaborating with Vijay Kumar after ‘Orey Bujjiga’.
Besides Raj Tarun, the film also stars Prince, Hemal, Poorna, Kota Srinivas Rao, and others. ‘Virata Parvam’ fame Suresh Bobbli is composing music for this film and editing is done by Praveen Pudi.The cinematography is by I.Andrew while the art department is being handled by Siva and fights by Real Satish.Let’s hope this ‘Power Play’ to provide a much-needed break for Raj and his team.
