Thalapathy Vijay’s fans were super excited when the official announcement of his 65th film after ‘Master’ was announced.Produced by Sun Pictures, Vijay will team up with Director Nelson Dilipkumar for the first time ever.
This untitled project is being referred to as #Thalapathy65 since it is his 65th film in the film industry.Now, the news is that Vijay will begin the shooting for #Thalapathy65 in Russia.
The cast and crew selection for the film is still under process while the film will start its shooting from early April.
Another interesting news is that Pooja Hegde might be roped in to play the female lead in the film who was last seen in ‘Ala Vaikuntapuramloo’ with Allu Arjun.
This Tamil film would be Pooja’s comeback to Kollywood after Jiiva-Myskkin’s ‘Mugamoodi’.This was her debut film which sadly turned out to be a failure at the box office but a success for the actress.
Moreover, this will be her first time casting opposite Thalapathy Vijay.
However, Rashmika Mandanna was first approached to play this role but the beauty has signed continuous projects in Bollywood, and she is already on the schedule for her maiden Hindi film, ‘Mission Majnu’.
So, Rashmika’s busy schedule helped Pooja get this offer.In addition, cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa has joined the crew of Vijay’s next film and the rest of the cast and crew announcements will be made during their Pooja ceremony.
