Hyderabad 15 Aug : Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao on Monday slammed the Narendra Modi government at the Centre declaring that it is engaged in the politics of hatred to divide people to conceal its shortcomings.
In his speech at the Independence Day celebrations at the historic Golconda Fort, the chief minister claimed that the ruling class at the Centre were employing shady methods to create division among people.

KCR who is the name by which the chief minister commonly known, complained that those in positions of Constitutional power were committing fascist violence to end the peaceful coexistence that India has preserved for generations.

He said that this wickedness was causing pain for the freedom fighters.

He said that the lack of competence of the Central government has hindered the country’s development.

Inflation has increased and the prices of important commodities are soaring.

The worth of the Indian rupee has fallen to its lowest level and rate of unemployment in the country has reached its highest.

He claimed that to conceal these shortcomings, the rulers at the Centre were playing political games of hatred to divide people.

The chief minister said that while India is widely praised for its unison in diversity, the current absurd tendencies were tarnishing the image of India.

KCR also claimed that factions in the state were seeking to stir up communal tensions to sabotage peace and harmony, which could cause obstacles in the way of development.He stated that intellectuals, young people students, and all citizens should be aware of be aware of the plots of the forces.

The chief minister stated that after facing numerous crises, Telangana saw rapid growth and progress over the last eight years.The state is moving peacefully forward on the path of growth.

“As the chief minister,, it is my responsibility and the Telangana government’s obligation to ensure that, without ignoring any part that we take every section ahead.It is the obligation of all citizens of Telangana to safeguard Ganga Jamuni tehzeeb (confluence of Hindu Muslim culture) praised by Mahatma Gandhi,” he said.

KCR asserted that the Centre is mocking the Constitution that states India is an Union of States.

He has accused the Union government of making decisions on issues in the list of concurrent subjects without consulting the states.

He claimed that the Centre unilaterally introduced agricultural laws that irritated farmers, as well as the Prime Minister had to apologize.

KCR said that the Centre has burdened the poor and middle-classes by the imposition of GST on their most essential needs.

He pointed out that from milk for kids to the construction of graveyards the Centre is randomly taxing people.

He also criticized the Modi government for reducing the percentage of states in the Central taxes by generating revenue via the backdoor of cesses.He claimed that this would lower the proportion of the states in 2022-23 from 41 percent to 29.6 percent.

In addition The Centre has been acting in an autocratic fashion to impose a number of restrictions that undermine the independence of the financial system of states.The Centre is cutting down on state-owned debts within the limits of FRBM, he said.
