As you have been already informed, senior actor Chalapathi Rao has made some offensive comments on women in the pre release function of Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam.When asked to respond on a famous dialogue in the trailer, Chalapathi Rao stated that “Girls are not injurious but they are made for sleeping in the bed”.
This comments gave rise to some serious outrage in media and social media.
As the latest update comes from filmnagar, police case has been filed against the senior actor in Banjara Hills Police Station, Hyderabad.
Details about the person who filed the case are yet to be revealed.
Chalapathi Rao went live in a Telugu news channel while ago.He said that even women are enjoying some adult jokes in random TV shows at home.In that case, his comment is a very small issue.
The actor feels that there are more important issues in the country but he is being paid with attention unnecessarily.At the end he added a sorry for women who really got hurt because of his comments.
On the other hand, Actor Nagarjuna trashed the controversial comments coming from Chalapathi Rao.“I always respect women personally and in my films/I definitely do not agree with Chalapati Rao’s derogatory comments/dinosaurs do not exist!” Nagarjuna tweeted.
