Union Water Energy Minister Gajendrasingh Shekhawat is coming to the state today (03 March 2022).He will tour the state and visit the Polavaram project and explore the resettlement colonies in the Godavari districts.At 6.30 pm, he will take a direct flight from Delhi to Gannavaram Airport and from there to the Chief Minister Jagan’s Camp Office in Thadepalli.
After meeting at the Chief Minister’s camp office, he will stay overnight in Vijayawada and will fly to Indukurupeta Rehabilitation Colony in Gokavaram Mandal, East Godavari District by helicopter on Friday morning.Talk to the settlers there, Reach Thadwai Rehabilitation Colony, Jangareddygudem Zone, West Godavari District.
Then go to the Polavaram main dam construction site and inspect the project works.
Visit Polavaram Spillway, Upper-Lower Coffer Dams, Main Dam Construction Areas.
Later, Shekhawat will address the state BJP team there.Afterwards will have a meeting with the authorities of Polvaram Project.
From there he will return to Vijayawada and meet party leaders at the BJP state headquarters.Chief Minister Jagan will also accompany Union Minister Shekhawat to inspect the construction of the Polavaram resettlement colonies and the main dam.State Chief Minister Jagan will accompany the Union Minister on all other meetings except BJP meetings.
