Annamalai the President of the Tamil Nadu unit BJP said Friday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in an event titled Modi Pongal’, which is to be held at Madurai in January 12. This event is part the Pongal festival that the state unit of BJP organizes.
Modi, Chief Minister M.K.The programme will also include Stalin.
Karu Nagarajan (General Secretary of BJP) will take charge of Modi Pongal, an event where an integrated committee was already formed.
Pongal, the Tamil Nadu harvest festival marks the start of the Tamil Month of Thai.It is usually held in the middle of January.
Four-day Pongal Festival will be held from January 14 to January 17.As a prelude for the Pongal festival, the BJP state unit will celebrate Modi Pongal.
