Keerthy Suresh who won the National Award for her outstanding performance in Nag Ashwin’ directorial venture ‘Mahanati’, playing the role of South Indian Telugu actress Savitri, is currently busy in her upcoming Malayalam film which is titled ‘Marakkar Arabikadalinte Simham’ alongside Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal in the lead role.
The film is based on the battle exploits of Kunjali Marakkars—the naval chieftains of the Zamorin of Calicut against the European forces in the 16th century.
While Keerthy Suresh will be essaying the role of Aarcha in this period drama, her first look was released recently and won some good appreciation.
Now the new stills of Keerthy from this film are making rounds on social media where she is seen like a Malayalam girl in a typical Malayali sari draped around her chest.
The actress also tied in a bun above her head in quiet an interesting way and looks very beautiful in her new attire.
Stars across Indian film industries including Suniel Shetty, Suhasini, Keerthy Suresh, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Siddique, Prabhu Deva, Sudeep and Prabhu have been roped in for the project along with some of the popular faces of Mollywood.This film is directed by Priyadarshan and is said to be the costliest movie made till date in Malayalam.
The film will also have some extensive sea warfare sequences which will be a major highlight reveals sources.
