The Peddapalli ZP Chairman, Putta Madhu has been recently arrested by the police.He has been in absconding for a week.
However, recently, he was arrested by Ramagundam police in Bhimavaram in the West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh.It seems that the police have moved him to Ramagundam police station.
Putta Madhu has been ‘missing’ since last Friday when the land grab case of former minister Itala Rajender came into the limelight.While he switched off his phone, the police said that he is staying in Hyderabad itself.
By the time the murder of the High court Advocate Vamanrao couple came into the limelight, he had left for Hyderabad from Manthani.For a week, he has been absconding and the police said that they are searching for him.Finally, he has been arrested in Bhimavaram by Ramagundam police.
It is yet to be announced officially by the police whether he was arrested in the wake of the allegations in the Vamana Rao couple’s murder case or is being prosecuted in any other case.
It is a known fact that in the past, police have arrested Putta Madhu’s nephew Bittu Srinu in Vamanrao’s couple murder case.
