The actor, who will be next seen in ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’, a reboot of the 2005 memorable Yash Raj Film, recently spoke to IANS about his upcoming film, the growth of audience, the roadmap ahead for films and his alma mater; National School of Drama.He will next be seen in ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’, a remake of 2005’s Yash Raj Film.

Recently, the actor spoke with IANS to discuss his upcoming movie, audience growth, future films, and the National School of Drama, his alma mater.

The actor plays a wicked cop in the film, talking about his character and his worldview, he says, “This character thinks of himself as very intelligent, he feels that he can crack even the most complex cases and thinks himself to be a super cop.He plays the role of a wicked cop.When discussing his character and worldview, the actor says that his character is very intelligent.He believes he can solve even the most complicated cases.He is quite contemporary, there is a dialogue in the promo where he says, ‘Beta Nirav Modi ka pata poocchne toh Fursatganj aayenge nahi (I haven’t come here to ask the whereabouts of Nirav Modi)’.His dialogue is very contemporary.He says “Beta Nirav Modi Ka Pata Poocchne Toh Fursatganj Aayenge Nahi” (He hasn’t arrived here to inquire about Nirav Modi’s whereabouts).So he is aware of what all is going on in society.”.He is therefore aware of all that is happening in the society.

“But, the modern con artistes have entered the game, who are very intelligent and are technologically brilliant.

The modern con artists have entered the fray, and they are extremely intelligent and technologically bright.How the character will nab the new set of con artistes forms the crux of the story,” he explains.

He explains how the protagonist will capture the new con artists.

Pankaj believes that an actor is a co-author to the script.

Pankaj thinks that actors are co-authors of the script.When asked about what all additions he did to his part in the YRF movie, he says, “The universe and traits of the characters are defined by the scriptwriter and the director.

Pankaj answers questions about the additions he made to the YRF film.He says that the scriptwriter or director define the universe and character traits.This film is a family entertainer and one tends to take cinematic liberties in such kinds of films.”.The film is intended to be a family entertainment and so one can take some cinematic liberties with such films.

When probed if he has modelled this character on any person from real life or literature, he quips, “I had met a cop in Bihar.

He quips that he had once met a Bihar cop and was asked if this character has been modeled after any real person or literary characters.So, when I was listening to the narration, I was immediately reminded of that person.

When I was listening, the narration brought back memories of this person.He used to behave like the hero of a masala Hindi film.

His behavior was reminiscent of the heroine in a Hindi masala film.Although I was reminded of that person, I didn’t borrow heavily from him for this character.

I am reminded of him, but I did not borrow too much from him to create this character.What you see in this film with reference to my character, was written on paper and I have built on the material which was given to me.”.This film, which includes a reference to my character in it, was made on paper.

I built upon the material that was provided to me.

“An actor is the co-author of a script in the sense that even if he or she doesn’t add to the writing part, they bring a character to life.An actor can be considered a co-author in that they contribute to the script’s writing, but also bring the character to life.They translate what’s there on paper to living flesh and bone.

Actors translate the words on paper into living flesh and bones.Whatever the writer wishes to convey, we, the actors become a medium to deliver their words, their lines and thoughts,” he concludes.

He concludes that actors can convey whatever the writer wants to communicate to us.
