The secretive person of Vladimir Putin’s elite believed to have revealed that the Kremlin is in the midst of panic and is eager for the bloody conflict to be ended, Daily Mirror reported.

The most shocking claims about the incident were made in the report that was distributed to Western intelligence agencies.

It is believed that senior officials and officers close to Putin are worried about the sharp Western sanctions and the ailing economy caused by the war.

Some Kremlin officials are also worried about the increasing risk being taken, such as fights in the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant in Ukraine, Daily Mirror reported.

The suggestion could have been offered to CIA contacts or Western diplomats in secret behind Putin’s back.

Leaked “situation report” is being viewed as a serious document by intelligence agencies.

The document reads: “A representative of Putin’s inner-circle has sent a message to the West regarding the desire to discuss.The state of mind of the Kremlin elite is one of panic”, Daily Mirror reported.

The astonishing claims go on to describe the unknown Kremlin insider as “one of the pillars of the regime”.

The insiders would be in extremely danger and so with their family members, should they be named.Putin has already carried out several purges, including firing military top spies and commanders.

Some have disappeared or mysteriously fallen ill.

A top Ukrainian diplomatic source said to the Daily Mirror: “If someone close to Putin has made overtures before, it shouldn’t be an unexpected event.”
