Mumbai, November 19th : .Pakistani actress Sanam Saeed rose to international fame through her television series Zindagi Gulzar Hai.
She says that she’d love to be able to share the screen with Bollywood’s Aamir Khan in Indian Films. Sanam stated that she was open to the possibility of working with Indian filmmakers, but not TV during the press conference for her new show, Qatil Haseenaon Ke Naam.This side of the border is my preferred TV.It’s so easy to find films and actors that I like, as well as many other genres.
“Aamir Khan, however, is someone that I’d like to do business with.”
Sanam stated that they know the Indian culture and have seen their movies.They didn’t understand how our lives were like or what we looked like.It was truly eye-opening.”We look and eat alike, so we’re practically brothers or sisters.”
She said, “They now know Pakistanis are like us.They have the same hair as us.We talk and talk in Urdu a lot better.” We have that freedom thanks to OTT platforms, which allow us to reach Indian audiences through our shows.The response has been amazing.
She also stated that the actress’ role in Qatil Haseenaon Ka Naam is quite different to her real-life persona.
I don’t often get mad in real life.
When I play a role, it is necessary to express those emotions.Acting is a way for me to be myself.
She said that although I don’t consider myself a femme fatale in real life I do not identify as one.
“Qatil Haseenaon Ka Naam” is full of power, courage and sassiness.This show tells stories about strong, fearless women who will go to great lengths to achieve their goals.It was an absolute pleasure to be a part of it.
Meenu Gaur directs ‘Qatil Haseeenaon Ke Naam,’ a six-part story anthology featuring seven stories about women.Farjad Nabi, Meenu Gaur and Meenu Gaur wrote the show.
It is set in a neighborhood full of secrets.The story gives an insight into what happens to women when they decide not to kneel before society and create their own destiny.
Among other faces, the show features Sarwat Gilani and Mehar Bano as well as Eman Suleman and Faiza Gillani.
The streaming will begin on ZEE5 December 10.
