Pakistani pacer Usman Shinwari resigns from Test cricket

Peshawar : , November 16th, 2016: Pakistan’s fast bowler Usman Khan Shinwari announced Tuesday that he will retire from Test cricket in order to extend his career.
The 27-year old pacer made the announcement on Twitter, saying that he took the decision after consulting his doctor and physio.

According to the 27-year-old pacer, he made the announcement via Twitter.He said that he had spoken with his doctor and physio before making the move.

“Thanks to @sportsphysiojav ALHAMDULILLAH I have made my comeback again from back injury and now I am absolutely fit but due to my Doctors and physio advises I have to leave Long format to avoid such injuries in future and prolong my Cricket career.I am Resigning from Red ball,” Shinwari tweeted.

Shinwari posted, “Thanks again to @sportsphysiojav ALHAMDULILLAH” that I made my return from my back injury.However, due to the advice of my doctors and physio I must leave Long format in order to prevent such injuries and to prolong my cricket career.

The pacer only played one Test for Pakistan back in 2019 against Sri Lanka.In 2019, he played only one Test match for Pakistan against Sri Lanka.

He has also represented Men-in-Green in 17 ODIs and 16 T20Is, where he claimed 47 wickets.In 17 ODIs as well as 16 T20Is, he has claimed 47 wickets for Men-in-Green.He also played 33 first-class matches, where he claimed 96 wickets at an average of 26.84.In 33 matches, he also took 96 wickets in first-class matches.His average score was 26.84.

In October 2017, Usman debuted in ODIs — against Sri Lanka in the UAE — and showed immediate signs of spark and unquestionable potential.Usman made his debut in ODIs against Sri Lanka in October 2017.He showed great potential and spark immediately.

In his second ODI, he dismantled the Sri Lankan top-order and claimed his maiden fifer while at it.He dismantled Sri Lanka’s top-order, and won his maiden fifer in his second ODI.

He followed it up with another ‘Man of the Match’ winning performance in the first of three-match T20I series against the same side.It was followed by another performance as ‘Man Of The Match’ in the second of three T20I matches against the same team.

Shinwari, who made his debut in 2013, could not stake a claim for a place in the Pakistan side on a regular basis in his start-stop career due to a back injury.Shinwari made his debut in 2013 but was unable to claim a spot in Pakistan’s side on a consistent basis due to back injuries.
