Chandigarh : , Nov 20, 2018 – Chief of Punjab Congress Navjot Singh Sing Sidhu addressed Imran Khan, Pakistan Prime Minister, on Saturday. The statement was made while speaking with the Kartarpur CEO in Pakistan.
Together with other Punjab cabinet ministers, he was present in Kartarpur to make obeisance at Kartarpur Sahib Gurdwara.
Sidhu said that he also has lots of affection for Pakistan’s Prime Minister.
Amit Malviya, head of BJP IT Cell, reacted to Sidhu’s comments and criticized the Congress for favoring Sidhu who is Pakistani rather than veteran Amarinder Singh.
“Rahul Gandhi’s favourite Navjot Singh Sidhu calls Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan his “bada bhai”.
He hugged Gen Bajwa (the Chief of the Pakistan Army) last time and heaped praises.
Malviya asked, “Is it not surprising that the Gandhi brothers chose Sidhu from Pakistan over veteran Amarinder Sing?”
Sidhu caused controversy in 2018 when he hugged Pakistan Army Chief Gen General Bajwa while visiting Pakistan to attend Imran Khan’s oath-taking ceremony
