Chennai 15 August : The work on director Pa Ranjith’s upcoming production which is a film based on cricket, started on Monday in the city. Sources who are close to the director’s camp confirmed that the film, that is directed by Jaikumar who was previously assistant director of Pa Ranjith, is being jointly produced by Pa Ranjith’s Neelam Productions together with Lemon Leaf Creations Ganesa Moorthy.
The film, yet to be named will star actors Ashok Selvan, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, Prithvi Pandiarajan Keerthi Pandian, and Divya Duraisamy, among others.
Cinematographer Tamizhalagan of O2’s “Thammam” fame is cranking the camera in this film that features music written by Govind Vasantha.
The movie, which will be shot in the region of Arakkonam and Arakkonam, will revolve around the emotional bonding of cricket.It will also highlight the nature of friendship with the perfect combination of entertainment.
