Some owners are now complaining about issues with their teeth and a lack of pre-delivery inspection (PDI) on social media.

Arun Sirdeshmukh (Ola Electric’s Chief Business Officer) stated that Ola Electric has delivered almost 4,000 scooters to its customers this month.

Sirdeshmukh stated that every customer is important and that while they have received overwhelming positive feedback, most of the customer issues, which were mostly due to transit delays, were quickly resolved by Sirdeshmukh.

Karthik Varma (Ola e-scooter) started the conversation by tweeting: “An OLA S1 Pro has been delivered to me today at Visakhapatnam Event.” The body has numerous cracks and dents.Manager says that she will have it fixed before shipping.Repair isn’t an option.”I paid for a brand new product and not a refurbished one.”

A second Twitter user, Toadie, posted the following: @bhash hi Bavish. My Ola S1 Pro was delivered yesterday. It was towed to the curb for headlight and screeching issues.Even though I promised to return it within a couple of hours, the fact that my bike is still not returned is what bothers me most.

One Ola scooter owner complained even about financial irregularities.

Rahul Prasadh tweets: “I had already paid Rs 7,471 to insure. When I got my policy, it only showed Rs 6,695.

It didn’t even show the base price, as I had paid full amount. Why is this happening? What is the reason for this discrepancy?

Reddit users shared their frustrations that Ola claimed an 181km range for her Pro model, but the scooters they received only covered 135km on full charges.Others even managed to travel as far as 98-100km.

They also experienced braking noises and panel gaps that were inconsistent, which could be indicative of manufacturing problems.

There were also many happy customers.

Shaikh Zuber tweeted, “Thanks Ola Team & Bhavish Sir”

Devarsh Vakil wrote: “Got delivery my @OlaElectric Pro.I am proud to have been part of the #missionelectric Revolution.@bhash was true to his word “Excited to take a long driving trip!”

Sirdeshmukh says, “We’ve reimagined the S1 product experience, but also the ownership experience, using our first direct-to customer approach in the industry.” Each customer has a brand champion who ensures that we stay close to them as we increase our delivery across the country.

Ola S1 scooters will be manufactured by Futurefactory, which claims to have the most modern, sustainable and advanced two-wheeler manufacturing plant in the world.

Media reports claim that the company is facing production problems due to supply chain restrictions and global chip shortages.

Ola S1 starts at Rs 99999.S1 Pro customers have to spend Rs 1,29,999 ex-showroom.The prices shown do not include state subsidies, however they include FAME II.

Ola Electric announced it would install more than 4000 charging stations for electric scooters in cities as part of its ambitious charging infrastructure goals.

Bhavish Aggarwal (Founder and CEO of Ola) tweeted that the Hypercharger rollout had begun in all cities.
