There have been multiple reports regarding the Hindi remake of ‘Chatrapathi’ doing rounds for some time.And finally, the official announcement regarding this massive remake is out today.
As said Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas will be reprising Prabhas’ role in this SS.Rajamouli’s yesteryear blockbuster ‘Chatrapathi’ in the Hindi version. Mass director VV.Vinayak who introduced Bellamkonda Sreenivas to Tollywood with ‘Alludu Seenu’, will now be introducing him in Bollywood too.Dr.Jayantilal Gada of Pen Movies who produced many successful Bollywood projects like ‘Kahaani’, ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’ etc will produce this prestigious film on a lavish scale.
‘Chatrapathi’ is a complete mass and action entertainer with adequate commercial elements.Makers feel that Vinayak’s expertise in directing such formulaic mass masala potboilers should come in handy for Srinivas’s Bollywood debut.Bellamkonda has gained huge popularity in the Hindi belt with his Hindi dubbed movies on YouTube.
Vijayendra Prasad, who had penned the story for the original is presently working on the final draft of the Hindi remake.
