A day after the Election Commission announced the poll schedule, Kiran Reddy met his supporters to take a final call on his plans.

The former chief minister believes that a new party would get people’s support in Seemandhra as they feel the Congress, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and YSR Congress all joined hands to split the state.Kiran said that the sentiments of Telugu people were completely dishonoured and there is not a single party that cares for the Telugu pride and self-respect.

Kiran, who had resigned in protest over the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, said that the new party’s policies and programmes would be announced at a public meeting at Rajahmundry on March 12.
