The dreams of MBA aspirants come true.The Union government on Wednesday cleared the proposal for the setting up of six new IIMs in the country.
The new IIM’S will start offering courses from the coming academic session itself.
As expected Andhra Pradesh state was allotted with a new IIM and it will come in port city Vizag.
The other IIM’S will be located at Bodh Gaya (Bihar), Sirmaur (Himachal Pradesh), Nagpur, Sambalpur (Odisha) and Amritsar.
These IIMs will begin functioning from assigned temporary campuses and shift to their permanent sites after the construction of the same.
Each institute will start with an intake of 140 students for the post-graduate.There are at present 13 IIMs in the country.
