Mumbai, Nov 14, : .Nupur Joshi, actress in ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, has appeared on several TV shows but doesn’t feel that she has made much progress. “I don’t feel like I have come a long way, rather I feel there’s still a long and happy road ahead and I’m excited to tread the path,” she said.She said, “I don’t feel like I’ve come a long distance.I feel that there’s still a long, happy road ahead of me and I’m excited to follow it.”
She was also seen in ‘Do Hanso Ka Jodaa’ as ‘Summi’.She also appeared as Summi in “Do Hanso Ka Jodaa”.For ‘Kumkum Pyara Sa Bandhan’, she played ‘Misri’ and in long-running show ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, she played ‘Soumya’.

Talking about the difference in doing films and television, she shared: “I think it would have to be the ‘process of creation’.She shared her thoughts on the differences between making films and TV.In television, we work on a different pattern to shoot our daily telecasts whereas the film schedules have a very different demand from the actors involved.Television has a different schedule for shooting its daily telecasts, while film schedules require different actors.I’d say, although both the mediums create magic, their potion making strategy differs.”.Although both mediums can create magic, the strategies for creating magic are different.
She finds it very difficult to imagine herself away from performing arts whether on television, movie or theatre.It is very difficult for her to imagine herself without performing arts, whether it be on TV, film or stage.”But had that not come to be, then I think I would’ve landed up as a practicing psychologist in some part of the world, based on my education in MS Clinical Psychology,” she said.She said, “But if that hadn’t happened, then I think that I would have landed up in some place as a psychologist, based upon my MS Clinical Psychology education.”

She said that it doesn’t matter if that is a main lead, a parallel lead, or a story that is character-driven.
In addition, she is open to venturing into films, television or even digital platforms now, equally as and how the opportunity arises, she will accordingly accommodate to the demands of it.She is also open to exploring films, television, and digital platforms as soon as the opportunity presents itself.”I’m basically all up for exploring new possibilities now,” she shared.She shared that she was open to exploring new possibilities right now.
