Payal Ghosh who is popular for acting in Prayanam, Oosaravelli, Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi, Mr.Rascal, and Varshadhare, has been named as the vice president of the women wing of – Union minister Ramdas Athawale Republican Party of India on Monday.
Oosaravelli fame has joined Ramdas Athawale’s Republican Party of India (A) in Mumbai.Union Minister Ramdas Athawale and the party’s chief thanked Payal Ghosh for joining the party.
This news is confirmed by the actress herself as she took to Twitter and said, “I have been appointed as the vice president for women wing of RPI.Thanks, Ramdas Athawale for believing in me.This is my honor to accept it.It’s one step closer to getting justice.As a woman I am very happy to serve the women community Now the ropes will get tighter.”
Recently Payal Ghosh was in the news headlined when she accused Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Kashyap of rape and made several allegations.
Mr.Rascal actress Payal Ghosh said that she joined the Republican Party to do something for the country India and thanked Athawale for supporting her in her fight against Anurag Kashyap.
She joined the party along with some others in the presence of Athawale.On the other side, Athawale said the entry of Payal Ghosh and others into the party would strengthen it.
