The state election commission recently issued a notification for elections in two corporations and five municipalities in Telangana.In Telangana, elections will be held for Khammam, and Warangal corporations, and also for the Siddipet, Jatcharla, Achampet, Nakirekal, and Kothuru municipal seats.
Nominations will be accepted from the 16th to the 18th of this month.Examination of nominations will be held on 19th and withdrawal of nominations till April 22.Polling will take place on the 30th of this month.The results will be announced on May 3.
As the nominations will be accepted from tomorrow, the Election Commission has directed the authorities to make all arrangements in the respective areas.The Election Commission has also announced that polling will be held on April 30 for divisions that have fallen vacant due to various reasons.
Elections will be held for the Lingojiguda division under GHMC, Gajwel, Nalgonda, Jalpally, Alampur, Bodhan, Parakala, Metpalli, and Bellampalli areas.
The Election Commission has already made all the arrangements for the conduct of elections in two corporations and five municipalities.
This morning, the ward-wise reservations were announced by the district collectors in the presence of the representatives of the political parties and asked them to co-operate for the smooth conduct of the elections.
