Noida 8 August : Noida Police on Monday announced an incentive of Rs 25,000 for anyone who can provide information about the whereabouts of the politician who has fled Shrikant Tyagi accused of assaulting one woman during an argument three days ago, over the planting of palm trees close to his residence in the city.According to reports the source, a ferocious operation to track down the absconding suspect is in progress and several teams of the Noida Police are currently working in collaboration to narrow in on the location of the accused.
Sources have told IANS that Tyagi’s last place of residence was found in Uttarakhand between Haridwar and Rishikesh and that a variety of police teams visited the area but he was not located.
A little earlier in the daytime, the district administration, stepping up its efforts against the accused, razed an illegal structure built by the self-proclaimed Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader.
Tyagi had encroached on the general area of the community and built an unfinished wooden structure that was supported by several pillars underneath it.
