Panaji 19 August : Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has declared that the BJP does not need any’mission’ (targeting constituencies) as people have begun to accept the saffron-colored party and are fully in its support. “The method we’re receiving answers from South Goa, I am certain that we will be able to win the seat (in Lok Sabha election).There’s no reason for a campaign, people have begun to accept the BJP and are with us,” he told reporters on Thursday.
According to the Chief Minister whenever he goes to South Goa, he gets an enthusiastic response from the population and is therefore confident of winning a vote in the near future.
BJP candidate and former MP Narendra Sawaikar had lost to Congress candidate Francisco Sardinha during the 2019 Lok Sabha election from the South Goa seat.
“So far, we’ve said that we weren’t getting success in Salcete (taluka in South Goa).
However, in the previous Assembly election, we won in Navelim constituency We showed that we are able to be successful here too.We should attempt to win more constituencies from Salcete.” Sawant said appealing to the party’s workers during its training program.
He said that every program of the Central government must be accessible to the citizens of the state and that every employee of the party should strive toward achieving this objective.
