Patna 3 September : One day after five of the six Janata Dal-United (JD-U) MLAs in Manipur have merged with the ruling BJP, Bihar Chief Minister and the senior JD-U leader Nitish Kumar on Saturday hit out at the BJP and said that’s the main reason he broke off the ties with the saffron-colored party. “Till Thursday”up to Thursday, up to Thursday, JD-U MLAs in Manipur were eager to travel to Patna to attend the annual meeting of the national executive committee.They were thrilled to come to Patna.However, the BJP took them away from us.They don’t think in the democratic system,” Nitish Kumar said following the meeting of the executive committee for national on Saturday.
“The game starts in this moment, and you can be able to see the outcomes in the near future,”” Kumar added.
“I will be going to Delhi to meet with opposition leaders.The parties of the opposition are becoming united to fight the BJP in 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
We will take on the saffron-colored party in 2024’s polls,” the Chief Minister declared.
JD-U has six MLAs in Manipur and BJP took five of the MLAs on Friday.
Five JD-U legislators in Manipur who have joined the BJP are Khumukcham Joykisan Singh (Thangmeiband), Ngursanglur Sanate (Tipaimukh) Md.Achab Uddin (Jiribam), Thangjam Arunkumar (Wangkhei) and L.M.Khaute (Churachandpur).
BJP MP from Buxar Ashwini Kumar Chaubey, told: “The Manipur incident was only a tailoring issue, and you will see many JD-U MLAs in Bihar joining the BJP in the near future.”
Vijay Kumar Sinha, the leader of the opposition in Bihar Assembly, said: “Nitish Kumar forgot morality.He took a stand against the mandate of the people and created the state government in Bihar with the Mahagathbandhan.People will learn from him.Manipur was a minor incident, and many JD-U MLAs are expected to become members of the BJP in Bihar.”
