As it turned out the party only won 43 seats. The comment was made in reference to the way in which the Lok Janshakti Party of Chirag Paswan contests elections outside of the NDA however, it was only in the seats where were in the seats that JD-U is contesting.

According to the party’s leader: “This time, the Chirag model was activated via R.C.P.Singh.The Saffron Party demanded R.C.P.Singh to remain in the JD-U and be a model for Eknath Shinde.Lalan Singh’s assertion about Chirag’s model was a lie.Chirag model actually refers to in fact the Eknath Shinde model in Bihar.Everybody knows who orchestrated the plot to eliminate Uddhav Thakeray in Maharashtra.”

“Nitish Kumar was adroit in assessing the current situation of Bihar and he was watching attentively the actions of R.C.P.Singh.When he realized that it was the right time to conclude the drama, he asked JD-U state President to deliver an official notice to R.C.P.Singh and asked him to be clear about the 40 Bigha lands that were acquired by his family and him in the past 9 years. After that, R.C.P.Singh was forced to resign from the main group of the party. He also made shocking accusations against Nitish Kumar and the national president Lalan Singh. He even declared that”the JD-U is sinking.”

A party insider claimed that BJP began the process to alter the Chief Minister’s position as its leadership comprised only R.C.P.Singh in the Narendra Modi government. At the time there was a rumor that there were a few JD-U MLAs in contact with R.C.P.Singh and he could be an outlaw.

“Nitish Kumar realized the danger and began surgical procedures in two directions.

One was that he gave full the power Lalan Singh to evict every sympathiser of R.C.P.Singh either from the party or to take away the accountability in the organization’s structure. Many of the leaders in the party became loyal supporters of Nitish Kumar.

“The situation was such that neither of the MLAs or MLC was able to participate in the events in which R.C.P.Singh was the main guest in Bihar.Nitish Kumar opened a new front in his own way and compelled the BJP central leadership to send an official in Patna.

Because of the strong stance of Nitish Kumar, Dharmendra Pradhan came to Patna on the same day to debate the issue.Nitish Kumar emphasized to Pradhan that if this incident were to occur again in the future, he would not respect the “Gathbandhan Dharma”.

In the wake of the resignation of R.C.P.Singh, BJP started the same game plan that could cause Nitish Kumar to make a decision,” he said.

In weighing in on the R.C.P.Singh matter, Lalan Singh said: “During the expansion of Narendra Modi’s government, R.C.P.Singh said to the JD-U management that he received a message from Amit Shah, who informed that his name was chosen as the cabinet minister. What is the way BJP choose who would become the minister of JD-U? Nitish Kumar gave the power to R.C.P.Singh to engage in negotiations with BJP What did he (R.C.P.Singh) doing? Amit Shah informed the former minister that his name had been chosen as an cabinet minister. Why did he not protested? The statement of R.C.P.Singh showed that he was working for BJP while he was with JD-U.”

Lalan Singh also targeted R.C.P.Singh for claiming in the past that he was in contact with Nitish Kumar from 1998.

“R.C.P.Singh was connected with Nitish Kumar, who was private secretary in 1998.At the time, Nitish Kumar was the Railway Minister, and there were over a dozen officials who were associated with Nitish Kumar. This does not necessarily mean that he was an official chief of JD-U.

He was made the the leader of JD-U in 2010 , when Nitish Kumar invited his name to Rajya Sabha,” Lalan Singh stated.
