Patna 19 August : Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Thursday appointed all Cabinet minister to be district chiefs of the 38 districts in the state. Ministers included are law minister Kartikeya Singh as well as the minister of fertiliser Leshi Singh whom are being investigated for criminal charges.
According to the official list, Kartikyeya Singh alias Kartik Master was appointed the head of Sheohar district and Leshi Singh has been appointed the district’s in-charge.Madhubani district.
The deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav is in charge of Patna and Bhojpur districts as well as the finance minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary has been assigned the responsibility of Nalanda and Sheikhpura districts.
Bijendra Prasad Yadav was appointed the head of Purnea as well as Kishanganj districts as well as Alok Mehta has been appointed as the in-charge of Siwan and Aurangabad districts.
Tej Pratap Yadav was appointed in charge of Arwal, Mohammad Afaq Alam is appointed the in-charge of Buxar, Ashok Chaudhary for Rohtas and Jamui and Sharawan Kumar has been appointed as the in-charge for Samastipur district.
Following the creation of the new Bihar government in Bihar 31 ministers comprising 16 from RJD 11 from JD-U two from Congress 1 from HAM and one Independent MLA were sworn in on the 16th of August.
