The National Institution for Transforming India (NITI) Aayog commission officials held a meeting with the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy today at the CM Camp Office in Tadepalli.NITI Aayog Advisor Shanyukta Samadar, NITI Aayog SDG Officer Allen John, NITI Aayog Data Analytics Officer Sourav Das and AP Planning Secretary GSRKR Vijaykumar met AP Chief Minister YS Jagan.
The members of the NITI Aayog Commission presented SDG India Index 2020–21 report to the Chief Minister.
On this occasion, CM Jagan briefed the NITI Aayog commission members on the reforms undertaken by the Andhra Pradesh state government for the integrated development of Andhra Pradesh and the priority given to the development of various sectors in the state.
As per the reports from the state government, a two-day workshop on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) India Index 2020–21 and Multi-Dimensional Poverty Index (MPI) will be held at the AP Secretariat under the auspices of the NITI Aayog Commission.
Members of the NITI Aayog Commission especially appreciated the priority given by the Andhra Pradesh state Government to the development of education, medicine, poverty alleviation and agricultural allied sectors.
