The Andhra Pradesh state government has extended the night curfew for another two weeks in the state.However, this will be in effect from 10 pm to 6 am the following day.Also, the state government has made it clear that people must abide by the Covid protocols.Anil Kumar Singhal, the chief secretary of the medical health department, has issued orders related to the curfew extension in the state.
However, CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy has already conducted a review meeting on Covid prevention and vaccination in the state.Jagan directed the authorities to be ready to face the third wave.

Telemedicine services up to sub-centres, internet facilities are being made available.Currently, it is taking steps to make oxygen beds available up to the level of community hospitals.
Oxygen cylinders and concentrators are also available at PHCs.
The curfew will be in effect from today.People should wear masks and maintain social distancing.Shops were allowed to open from 6 am to 2 pm.Also, Anil Kumar Singhal clarified that people should not come out unless it’s necessary.
