Siddhu’s reason for quitting Rajya Sabha

New Delhi: Former Cricketer turned Politician Navjot Singh Siddhu clarified on Monday that he had to quit Rajya Sabha as BJP stopped him from contesting from his state.But he did not reveal his next plan of action of joining AAP.Siddhu was elected to Rajya Sabha in the month of April quit his membership last week.

Siddhu narrated media that he had quit Rajya Sabha as I was asked to stay away from Punjab, he said he will go wherever he wants in Punjab, and he will go to whatever extent to serve Punjab.

This reflects his inclination of joining Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).Siddhu said with emotion that he can’t keep himself away from people who elected him 4 times in 10 years of span.

Siddhu said nothing is more important to him than Punjab.In 2014 elections he was made to contest from Kurukshektra West Delhi which he refused.

He said he won many elections for BJP but was not allowed to contest from Amritsar of Punjab.Whatever is said and done, Siddhu didn’t clear the air of his next plan of action.
