He defeated Vinayak Agarwal from Uttar Pradesh 4-2 to reach the knockout stage of the Men’s 6-Red Snooker Competition of the 88th National Billiards and Snooker Championship 2021, held at Sage University Campus.
Advani was in control and made small breaks of 40 in the third and sixth frames, respectively, to register a 40-11 and 14-34, 69-01, 01-54 and 43-07 victories, respectively.

Advani, who won his third match on Tuesday, qualified for the knockout round.I look forward to the knockout matches that begin tomorrow.

Maharashtra challengers Rahul Sachdev and Kreish Gurbaxani both displayed strong fighting qualities to win Tuesday’s second league match.

In the best-of-7-frame tie, Gurbaxani, a Mumbai-based youngster, won a stunning 4-1 victory against veteran campaigner Saurav Kthari of West Bengal.

Gurbaxani managed to string together breaks of 34 and 63 in the final three frames, sending Kothari to a devastating 02-37, 36-12 and 42-23 defeats, as well as a 64-00 and 61-05 defeats.

After dropping the first two frames, Sachdev, left-handed, rallied brilliantly to defeat Vijay Nichani, Tamil Nadu 4-2.Sachdev won the fourth and fifth frames with 52 and 53 respectively.He then went on to win the sixth frame to complete the contest with 21-30, 20-43 and 66-00, 52 00, 54-08, 66-00 and 66-00 frame scores.

Madhya Pradesh’s southpaw cueist Amee kamani continued her impressive performance and won her second consecutive victory against Pooja Galundi of Rajasthan in the best-of-5-frame Ladies 6Red snooker competition.

After losing the first frame, Amee, a former champion, bounced back well at 29.Pooja won the next three frames with confidence and provided few opportunities for Pooja.She was awarded a 32-42, 52-04, 42-22 and 33-18 verdicts.
