Victory Venkatesh has successfully remade the Malayalam blockbuster ‘Drishyam’ in Telugu and scored a super-duper hit.Now, after seven years, the sequel to the blockbuster film was made in Malayalam and ‘Drishyam 2’ will be remade in Telugu as well.Venkatesh will play the lead role and official confirmation was given with the launch that happened on March 1st.Jeetu Joseph who directed the original will be directing the remake as well.
Now the latest news is that the makers have cast Suja Varunee for the film in a pivotal role.She became the talk of the town after her stint with the popular reality show, ‘Bigg Boss Tamil Season 1’.She has also played a role in Venkatesh’s ‘Nagavalli’ which was a sequel to the famous film of India, ‘Chadramukhi’.This will be her comeback film to the Telugu Film Industry for 11 long years as ‘Nagavalli’ was released back in the year 2010.
She was also a part of many Tamil films including Sasikumar’s ‘Kidaari’, ‘Iravukku Aayiram Kangal’, and Arun Vijay’s ‘Kuttram 23’ in which she garnered a good response for her performance.She also acted in Vishnu Manchu and Lavanya Tripathi’s rom-com entertainer ‘Doosukeltha’.Suresh Productions is producing ‘Drishyam 2’.The regular shooting of the film has begun on March 8th.Currently, Venkatesh is waiting for the release of ‘Naarappa’ and is working with Anil Ravipudi for the movie ‘F3’.
