Akkineni Nagarjuna in the press meet a while ago has announced that his upcoming movie is now releasing in the theaters.‘Wild Dog’ was initially sold to a popular OTT platform for a record price.
However, with the theaters reopened and the audience reception is great, Nagarjuna and the ‘Wild Dog’ team has pulled out of the deal.The film is now going ahead for the theatrical release and it is going to release on April 2nd.
Now the latest update is that the makers released a special poster last night to announce that the trailer will be out on the 12th of March at 4:05 PM.The poster released features the main cast of the film which stars Akkineni Nagarjuna, Saiyami Kher, Dia Mirza, Atul Kulkarni, and Ali Reza.King Nagarjuna will be essaying the role of Vijay Varma, an encounter specialist and a National Investigation Agency (NIA), in the movie.The crew recently wrapped up shooting in Manali, Himachal Pradesh.
While the film is directed by Solomon, Niranjan Reddy has produced the film under Matinee Entertainment banner.Kiran Kumar has written the dialogues for the movie, while the cinematography is handled by Shaneil Deo.The action sequence for the movie was choreographed by David Ismalone, who worked for ‘Fast & Furious 7’, ‘A Man Will Rise’ and ‘Ong-Bak: Muay Thai Warrior’.Nagarjuna recently wrapped up shooting for his Hindi movie ‘Brahmastra’ which stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
