Akkineni Nageswara Rao, 90, the last living legend of Telugu cinema passed away in wee hours of January 22 at Care hospital in Hyderabad.
While speaking with media Nagarjuna said his father was doing absolutely fine until yesterday
Nagarjuna said, “My father was recovering well from the surgery.
He was absolutely fine on Tuesday evening and spent time with all our family members.He got a peaceful death.He breathed his last during deep sleep.Even last night, he was joyous with all of us’’
The body of Akkineni Nageswar Rao has been shifted from Care hospital to Annapurna Studios where it will be placed for public viewing.
Nagarjuna requested all the fans to come down to Annapoorna studios to pay last respects to his body and ANR will be cremated in Erragadda crematorium tomorrow.
