Virat tips his hat to Dhoni; Suresh Raina joins Dhoni’s Journey.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni is the only captain in the history of cricket to have won three ICC trophies- T20 WC (2007), ODI WC (2011), and Champions Trophy (2013).
He will not don the blue Jersey anymore as he announced his retirement from all forms of International cricket Recently.Amid so much despondency, almost every Indian has bid farewell to this Cricketing legend.
Of all, Virat Kohli’s goodbye and Suresh Raina’s announcement of retirement has been the special ones.After a long message on Instagram, Virat Kohli finished his farewell saying “The world has seen achievements, I’ve seen the person.Thanks for everything skip.I tip my hat to you.”
On the other hand, Suresh Raina, who is a great admirer of Dhoni, couldn’t resist the news and emotionally announced his retirement saying “It was nothing but lovely playing with you, @mahi7781.With my heart full of pride, I choose to join you in this journey.Thank you, India.Jai Hind! (sic)”.
The 33-year-old cricketer is the only Indian batsman to score a ton in all the three Cricket formats.He is the third batsman in the world to get a T20 International Century.
Consequently, the entire Indian cricket fans are heartbroken when these two entertaining cricketers said goodbye to cricket.But a few cricket fans are cheering them up citing CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan’s comments.
Viswanathan earlier said Dhoni would be leading CSK in IPL 2020, IPL 2021, and even IPL 2022.
If Dhoni plays, then Raina plays.
