Chandigarh 26 August : Punjab Police on Friday filed a case report in the Mansa court in the famous Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala’s murder case.The police accused jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi as the mastermind in the murder.The 1,850-page document of charges names 36 facilitators, shooters masterminds as well as others in the alleged crime, which took place on the 30th of May in revenge of the youth Akali Dal leader Vicky Middukhera’s death.
In addition to Bishnoi as well as Jaggu Bhagwanpuria Other players who are named in the report are Manmohan Mohana Deepak Tinu Sandeep Kekda, Ankit Sirsa, Priyavrat Fauji, Sachin Bhiwani, Keshav, Kashish Manu, Manpreet Manu and Jagroop Roopa.
At moment both Bishnoi and Bhagwanpuria are in the custody of the state police.
The Special Investigation Team (SIT) is headed by Anti-Gangster Task Force chief Pramod Ban is investigating the murder.
Ban has stated that Bishnoi the principal co-conspirator, confessed to the execution plot was devised in August of last year to be vengeful for the murder of Middukhera.
Canadian-based Goldy Brar who is a part of Bishnoi group is identified in the charges sheet.
He has previously claimed the of the responsibility of the killing.
Ban has said that the shooters arrived at Mansa on the 25th of May The scene of the crime near Moosa village.”Some of the weapons were given to them upon reaching Punjab.AK series assault rifles were utilized in the murder,” he had said.
The day before, a candle-lit parade was held at Mansa town in order to pay tribute to Moosewala.
Speaking to the media Sidhu’s father Balkaur Singh stated: “After the death of Sidhu I came to realize that he was not my son.He was rather the father of all households.”
“From all across the nation, he got tribute and every eye was filled with tears and admiration for him.I am happy to be his dad,” he added.
