Senior actor Mohan Babu has been staying away from movies for a while now.He was last seen as legendary actor SV.Ranga Roa in 2018 blockbuster film, ‘Mahanati’. He is now doing a key role in Tamil star Suriya’s ‘Soorarai Pottru’ which is scheduled for an OTT release on Amazon Prime on October 30th, 2020.
The latest we hear is that Mohan Babu might be making a comeback with the Telugu remake of the critically acclaimed Malayalam film, ‘Android Kunjappan Ver 5.25’. This film is a science fiction comedy-drama film, directed by Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval and produced by Santhosh.T Kuruvilla.
Suraj Venjaaramood, Soubin Shahir, Kendy Zirdo, and Saiju Kuru played the lead roles.
It is said that Mohan Babu is quite impressed with the storyline which is about the story of an aging father who develops a good bonding with a robot that is gifted to him by his son who lives in Russia.Mohan babu has shown his interest to remake this project as the story suits his age and personality.
‘Android Kunjappan Ver 5.25’ has been recently dubbed into Telugu as ‘Android Kattappa Ver 5.25’ and is now streaming on the Telugu OTT platform Aha.An official announcement regarding the Telugu remake and the film’s cast and crew details are expected to be out soon.Stay tuned for more updates!
