A four-member team, formed under the direction of Child Welfare Committee (CWC), arrived with the baby.
On Sunday, the team arrived.

Anupama is protesting in front of Kerala State Council for Child Welfare. However, she was still upset and voiced her anger.

We have been left out of the loop and officials don’t tell us what is happening. Now I worry that DNA testing could also be altered by those at the top of the agencies.

Things might not turn out the way they should. We have not been able to get any information from the authorities on next steps, despite numerous attempts.

Anupama stated that they wanted to find out if DNA samples will be combined.

We feel these officials have a vendetta against us.They can say one thing but do the exact opposite.”We are losing patience, and remember that until this point our protests were very controlled.I don’t know if the protests will be continued in the same way as now.

The four members of the team came from Here and reached Andhra Pradesh Saturday. On Sunday night, the child returned to her.Anupama believes that the baby was taken away from her by force on the fourth day after she was born.

This was the family court that acted first. When it was due to give clearance for adoption, Anupama was helped by a massive media campaign.

Pinarayi Vijayan government ordered the CWC/KSCCWC to quickly act after the court halted all follow-up procedures to legalize the adoption of the Andhra couple.

A team of professionals and the authorities arrived at the child care center Monday morning to collect the samples from the baby.

Anupama claims that Veena George, State Health Minister of India is playing foul throughout the whole sequence.

Anupama (SFI activist), the granddaughter of a top yesteryear CPI/M leader in the capital city, had approached Ajith, the State Police chief, and the Child Welfare Committee to discuss this matter.

Things started to change after they approached media. All eyes now turn to the DNA results, expected to be released on Wednesday.
