Talsani Srinivas Yadav, Minister of State for Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Dairy Development and Cinematography, said that efforts are being made to develop the temple by providing all kinds of facilities to the devotees who come to the glorious Sri Bulkampeta Ellamma Ammavari Temple.On Friday, several development works worth Rs 2.43 crore were started in Ameerpeta division under Sanath Nagar constituency.Earlier, work on a sewerage pipeline at Suprabath Nagar at a cost of Rs 2.20 lakh was started.Later, the foundation stone was laid for the VDCC road works to be undertaken at Bulkampeta Basti at a cost of Rs 18.90 lakh.A power bore set up by ACDP funds at a cost of Rs 6 lakh has been inaugurated at the Bulkampeta Ellamma Temple Bonala Complex.Similarly, VDCC has started road construction work at SR Nagar Housing Board Community Hall (Sai Mention) at a cost of Rs 18.40 lakh.Sewerage pipeline from Axis Bank, SR Nagar to Community Hall has been started at a cost of Rs 18.50 lakh.Sewerage pipeline works have been started at Muslim Basti in Bapunagar at a cost of Rs 10.50 lakh.Rehabilitation work of fresh water pipeline at a cost of Rs 3.60 lakh has been started in Bapunagar.Later, Minister Srinivas Yadav said that he was constantly working towards the solution of public problems.Bulkampeta said that devotees come from all over the state as well as the city to pay homage to the Goddess.Construction work on a multi-level parking lot has been started at a cost of Rs 3.37 crore for the convenience of devotees.When locals brought to the attention of the minister that strip lights had been installed for the central lighting poles on the white topping road in front of the temple but had not been turned on, the authorities were directed to turn on the strip lights.Similarly, a shed will be constructed on Bonam Complex Road next to the temple with the help of donors in the same manner as it was built in front of the temple.
He explained that the people of the constituency are being provided with minimum facilities and infrastructure at a cost of crores of rupees.Authorities have been directed to take steps to construct CC roads as soon as the drainage and fresh water pipeline works are completed in Muslim Basti in Bapunagar.
