Minister KTR urges Union govt to turn Begumpet Airport into Aviation varsity

Union Minister for Civil Aviation, Jyotiraditya Scindia, recently assured support for the expansion of the Shamshabad international airport.Speaking on this occasion, he made it clear that six new airports will be set up in Telangana as per the request of the Telangana state government.

CM KCR briefed the importance of introducing direct flight connectivity from Hyderabad to various parts of the world.

On this occasion, Minister KTR asked Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia to turn Begumpet Airport into an aviation university.

He also said that steps should be taken to set up an Aero Space‌ Technology Training Center in Begumpet.

CM KCR said that they are planning to introduce drone technology in the Manasaputrika Harithaharam program.

CM KCR said to the Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia that with the help of drones, the Telangana government has set a target of planting 50 lakh seedlings by scattering seeds in the forest areas.

Also, the state Education Minister Sabita Indrareddy thanked CM KCR and Minister KTR for choosing Vikarabad for the ‘Medicine from Sky’ program.

CM KCR, Minister KTR, Chevella MP Gaddam Ranjit Reddy, MLAs Yadayya, Methuku Anand, Rohit Reddy, Mahesh Reddy, Narender Reddy, Mahender Reddy, Surabhivanidevi and others accompanied the union minister.
