Minister KTR flagged off 40 state-of-the-art garbage trucks at the People’s Plaza in the city.These vehicles transport garbage from various parts of the city to the Jawahar Nagar dumping yard.Speaking on the occasion, Minister KTR said, “We are taking all possible steps to make Hyderabad, the state capital, a cosmopolitan city.”
Two important wastes are generated in any city.Contains solid and liquid waste.He said that as part of Telangana Swachha Hyderabad program, we are looking for solutions for waste management.
If 2500 metric tons of garbage was collected in 2014.At present we are collecting 6 thousand metric tons of garbage.4500 clean auto tippers are available.We use these autos for garbage collection.
Another 400 cars will be available soon in a month.Said to be utilized for door-to-door collection in 150 divisions.
He suggested that in order for Hyderabad to grow as a cosmopolitan city, a modern system should be set up.KTR said on the occasion that 95 secondary collection transfer points have been set up.We have also set up mobile collection transfer points and are taking all necessary steps to keep the city clean.The Minister said that we are adopting state-of-the-art methods with the intention of having state-of-the-art solid waste treatment.
We are setting up sewerage treatment plants for liquid waste treatment.KTR suggested that vehicles be used to move garbage and horse hoofs in the ponds.
