Health Minister Tanniru Harish Rao has said that Warangal will be made a medical hub.The minister was addressing the swearing-in ceremony of the new governing body of Warangal IMA at the Kakatiya Medical College Auditorium on Sunday night.KMC, Central Jail, MGM, said it would build two-thousand-bed hospitals on 215 acres of land for eye clinics.Warangal is the fastest growing city after Hyderabad.
It has been announced that a health city will be built here.
The 1,200-bed hospital will provide treatment for all types of ailments.
A super specialty hospital with another 800 beds will be built.The CM said that KCR was with the intention of setting up a medical college in the district.
He said the state was working to strengthen the medical system with Rs 10,000 crore.It was revealed that deliveries in government hospitals with KCR kits have increased and decreased in private hospitals.
Panchayati Raj Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao said that doctors would be recognized only when better treatment was provided to the poor.The meeting was attended by Chief Government Vip Dassam Vinay Bhaskar, MLC Pochampally Srinivas Reddy, Mayor Gundu Sudharani, MLAs Nannapuneni Narender, Thatikonda Rajaya, IMA state president Ravinder Reddy and others.
