This is because Omicron-induced Covid has been on the rise, particularly in the US. Satya Nadella’s tech company, will be present at the event as a digital presence.
Microsoft announced that it had reviewed the most recent data about the Covid environment and decided to not participate at CES 2022.A spokesperson for the company said this in a statement.
The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) plans to continue with the show.However, many tech companies such as Lenovo, T-Mobile and AT&T will not be attending the event, including AT&T Meta, Amazon, Pinterest, TikTok and Pinterest.
Google and Intel joined the increasing number of tech companies that have decided to not attend CES 2022 in Las Vegas.
Google’s outdoor exhibits are a staple of the Las Vegas Convention Centre for the past several years.
Samsung stated that it will still participate in CES despite major brands withdrawing.Samsung stated that there will be no changes in its presence on site, particularly as Han Jong-hee (the new CEO) is scheduled to give the keynote speech detailing his vision and future direction for technological advancement.
