Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft, gave a highly elated message, sharing the acquisition news with all the employees of the software giant.He expressed that he was always interested and had maximum respect towards Linkedin, which created a huge platform for all the employees from various fields to meet at one place and share their work related progress.

Microsoft with this new purchase is looking at bringing in 43.3 crores of employees around the world under their network and also integrating Linkedin with their Office tools, would be more than useful for many professionals, and with this Microsoft is hoping to reach out to the new corners and increase their market share even more.

Even after becoming a Microsoft powered social networking site, Linkedin, will continue as a independent site and the long time CEO, Jeff Weiner, will continue as the CEO.Microsoft further stated that there won’t any extra pressure on the markets or on their share value due to this acquisition and ensured that the purchase will complete by the year and the entire transaction will be completed in money value only.
