Hyderabad Meteorological Department forecast moderate rains in parts of Telangana today and tomorrow.Recently, the Hyderabad Meteorological department officials released the weather report.According to the reports, the surface trough on Saturday extends from Telangana over Rayalaseema to southern Tamil Nadu at an altitude of 0.9 km to 1.5 km above sea level.
The surface periodicity formed yesterday at the East Central Bay of Bengal & the surrounding Northeast Bay of Bengal today extended from 1.5 km to 5.8 km above sea level in the northwestern & surrounding Bay of Bengal.Currently, it is shifting towards the southwest.Hyderabad Meteorological Department officials said the cyclone was likely to reach the coast of Odisha within 12 hours.
There is a chance of rain in parts of Telangana till Monday, September 20.Moderate rains with thunderstorms are likely to be expected in some districts of Telangana.On the 20th and 21st, heavy rains are likely to lash parts of Telangana, Meteorological Department officials forecast.
On the other hand, the Telangana state police department is making all the necessary arrangements for the Ganesh idol immersion tomorrow.
