New Delhi, November 19 : , Meta, formerly Facebook, has introduced several controls to allow users and businesses to customize their News Feed experiences on the social media platform.
Additionally, the company plans to work with partners in order to create a tool that verifies brand suitability for News Feed.

Meta released a late Thursday statement stating that they are testing new methods to help people find and access News Feed controls.This control can be used to modify ranking preferences or personalize their News Feed.

This allows users to adjust the content that they see in the News Feed, as well as the topics and groups they are connected to.

We’re making controls such as Favorites, Snooze and Unfollow easier to use.The social network announced that we will begin testing in select countries across the globe to a limited number of people and then gradually expand in the following weeks.

Facebook’s News Feed controls have been modified numerous times over the years to assist billions of people in prioritising the best content.

According to the company, it will also expand the “Topic Exclusion” controls in News Feed Test to allow advertisers who run English ads.

Advertisers can use the advertiser topic exclusion to choose a topic that will help them define the way their company will display the ad via Facebook.This includes News Feed.

Facebook discovered that 94% of advertisers who excluded Politics and News categories could avoid News and Political adjacency in its early tests with advertisers.

Meta stated that they expect the project to start in 2022, and will provide regular updates starting in Q1 of each year.
