Mumbai, November 23, : , Mehul Nisar, actor of “Anupamaa”, recalls Madhavi Gogate who was the mother of Anupamma and her brother, Bhavesh Joshi (played here by Mehul).
Mehul discusses Madhavi’s acting skills and the experiences he had working with her.He opens up also about his involvement with the show.

Mehul said: “This was my first experience working with Madhaviji.She was an older actress, but she is very approachable.Rupali and Madhaviji are the main characters in most of my scenes.Her character was sweet, caring and fun-loving.She was an eternal child.

She was 58 years old and had been an actress for many Marathi daily soaps.Her Marathi TV debut was with “Tuza Maza Jamtay”.

Mehul found it a wonderful learning experience working alongside her as she guided him throughout the process.

Mehul says that even though she is a veteran actress, she still was open to learning and making suggestions.

Her character in the show was a Gujarati, and she was also a Maharashtrian.Gujarati is a language I am familiar with.She used to always ask me how I would pronounce Gujarati accent.”She was my mother, and I used to love her as much as my mother.”

Mehul also shared how he has been aided by the show “Anupamma” in his professional life.This show added an extra feather to my cap.”

Although I only had a small part in the series, I’m very pleased with my appearance.It has given me lots of appreciation and recognition.

I must also mention the fact that the creators were extremely transparent in explaining my character, and didn’t give me false hopes.
